Rules Questions
Rules questions go in this thread
Q: How may planets are there?
A: 8. The 9 you learnt in your primary school astronomy classes, minus earth.
Q: So, 4 players will go through?
A: Not necessarily. At most, 4 players will go through.
Q: Is there a revival ticket?
A: Yes. More information will be revealed at a later date.
Q: What about contracts?
A: You can buy them for 50 million each. We won't be giving any freebies though.
Q: How many players?
A: 11. The 10 people from round 3 and emi.
Q: What happens if we don't pm you soon enough?
A: It will be assumed that you are sending 0. However, if you are deliberately sending in 0, please pm us to say so, as we will post early if we have the results early.
Q: Will you eliminate inactives?
A: No need. They'll eliminate themselves.
Q: What if no one sends an army to a Planet?
A: That's a tie. So, it will be treated as such.
Q: If there is a tie between players, would the tie (where you sent an army of the same size), would the army you send in for the second round of conflict count as a minus to your army supply? Or would it be irrelevant?
A: The troops would be used up.
Q: If there is a tie between every player, would we switch immediately to the random decision?
A: If everyone sends in the same number of troops, we will give everyone a second chance. If this doesn't resolve it, we will hold a vote. There is no requirement to vote for yourself. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least one circumstance where you would vote for someone else. Then we will decide randomly.
Q: What happens to the troops we send to a planet? Can we get them back?
A: No. Win or lose, the soldiers you sent to one planet are unusable on all other planets.
Q: If noone gets 2 planets (i.e. 8 people get 1 planet each). noone wins, correct?
A: Correct. It is possible for there to be no winners, although the revival ticket is still an option.
Q: If two or more people tie and have no more troops to send in, will you skip the step where they send in more?
A: Yes, assuming no tied person can send in more troops.
Q: If I realize I sent in the wrong amount before the due date, can I send in a new value?
A: Yes. We aren't that stingy.
Q: Do I get the money for each planet I capture, or just the first and second?
A: You get money for each planet. (There were some late changes in the rules and the statement about capturing more than 2 is out of date)
Q: I have to pay 100 million at the end of the game, right?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I transfer planets I have captured to another player?
A: No. We tried something like this in the preliminary round, all the way back before round 1, and we determined that it was a failure, so we will not be doing it again.
Q: Can i have a clue regarding the Revival ticket twist?
A: Here is your clue: It might involve a revival ticket. Hope that helps.

Re: Rules Questions
Reserved if I need more posting space.
Also, for this round, you may request that your questions remain private. If you do so, I will not attach them to this thread. However, it would be preferable to ask your questions in such a way that they do not reveal your motives.

Re: Rules Questions
Do I get money for getting 3+ planets? Or is it just for the original 2 requirement?

Re: Rules Questions
Good point. Yes, you do get extra money for the extra planets.
Also, just to clarify, there are 11 players, so each planet is worth 137.5 million yen. At the end of the game, you pay back 100 million, of course.
