Preliminary Round Rules
RULES OF THE CENTIPEDE GAME
Each player will go first once. At the beginning, they may choose how much money to put into the first of two bags. This amount is referred to as one unit. Each turn will go like so, numbers representing units:
Bag A: 1 ; Bag B: 0
Bag A: 2 ; Bag B: 0
Bag A: 3 ; Bag B: 1
Bag A: 4 ; Bag B: 2
Bag A: 3 ; Bag B: 3
On each turn, the player may choose to keep bag A and push bag B to their opponent, or push both to the opponent. Get Bag B six times and you are disqualified. After each player goes first 5 times, the game is over and the player with the most yen wins.
